Ch.1General Provisions
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the working holiday information platform services provided by WoHol Mate ("Service"), including the terms and conditions, rights, obligations, and responsibilities between users and the Service.
Article 2 (Definitions)
The following definitions apply to these Terms:
- • "Service": All working holiday-related information services provided by WoHol Mate
- • "User": An individual who has registered through Google OAuth
- • "Account": The unique ID and related information set up by a user to use the Service
- • "Content": All text, images, and information posted by users
- • "Job Profile": Employment information and data for wage calculation registered by users
- • "Community": The bulletin board service for information sharing between users
Article 3 (Effect and Modification of Terms)
Article 4 (Matters Not Covered)
Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and service-specific guidelines.
Ch.2Account Registration and Management
Article 5 (Registration)
① Registration process includes:
- • Authentication through Google OAuth
- • Setting a nickname
- • Selecting country and visa type (417/462)
- • Agreeing to Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
② Registration may be restricted in the following cases:
- • Users under 14 years of age
- • Previous termination of membership
- • Use of another person's information
- • History of intentionally disrupting Service operations
Article 6 (Modification of User Information)
① Users can view their personal information at any time through the account settings. However, personal information cannot be modified.
② If you need to change your nickname, you can request it through the Contact Us feature.
③ The following information cannot be modified:
- • All personal information (nickname, email, etc.)
- • Country information
- • Visa type (417/462)
- • Registration date
Article 7 (Termination and Suspension)
① Users may request account termination at any time, and the Service will process it immediately.
② User privileges may be restricted or suspended in the following cases:
- • Providing false information during registration
- • Interfering with other users' use of the Service
- • Distributing illegal information
- • Damaging the reputation of the Service
- • Violating these Terms
Ch.3Use of Services
Article 8 (Provision of Services)
① The Service provides the following features:

② The Service is available 24/7 year-round, except for temporary interruptions due to system maintenance.
Article 9 (Service Modification and Interruption)
① The Service may modify services based on operational and technical needs.
② Service may be temporarily interrupted in the following cases:
- • System maintenance, upgrades, or replacements
- • Technical issues such as network failures or server outages
- • Force majeure events including natural disasters or national emergencies
③ The Service may be terminated due to financial circumstances.
Article 10 (Information and Advertising)
① The Service may provide necessary information through announcements, emails, or app notifications.
② The Service may display advertisements related to service operations.
Ch.4Content and Intellectual Property
Article 11 (Content Management)
① Copyright for user-created content belongs to the respective user.
② Users are responsible for their posted content.
③ The Service may remove the following content without prior notice:
⛔ Prohibited Content:
- • Exposure of others' personal information
- • False information or defamation
- • Obscene or harmful content to minors
- • Copyright infringement
- • Illegal information (illegal stay, illegal work, etc.)
- • Advertising or spam
- • Offensive language or hate speech
- • Content disrupting service operations
Article 12 (Copyright Attribution)
① Copyright for content provided by the Service belongs to the Service.
② Users may not commercially use information obtained through the Service without prior consent.
③ The Service has the following rights to user-posted content:
- • Display and distribution within the Service
- • Use for service promotion (with user consent)
- • Display in search results
Ch.5Community Guidelines
Article 13 (Community Standards)
① All users must respect each other and maintain a healthy community culture.
② The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
- • Insulting or defaming others
- • Spreading false or unverified information
- • Repetitive posting of identical content (spamming)
- • Commercial advertising (except job postings)
- • Encouraging or promoting illegal activities
- • Requesting or revealing personal information
Article 14 (Post Management)

Article 15 (Reporting and Processing)
- ① Users can report content that violates these Terms.
- ② Reported content will be promptly reviewed and appropriate action will be taken.
- ③ Users who repeatedly submit false reports may have their reporting privileges restricted.
Article 16 (Public Ranking System)
① Users can choose whether to display their information in the public rankings through their job profile settings.
② Information displayed in public rankings:
- • Nickname, Total earnings, Total working hours and days, Average hourly rate, Country, Industry (optional)

Article 18 (Service Liability Limitations)
- ① The Service is not liable for service interruptions due to force majeure events.
- ② The Service is not responsible for service disruptions caused by user negligence.
- ③ The Service does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of user-posted information.
- ④ The Service is not responsible for disputes between users or between users and third parties.
- ⑤ The Service may be terminated without prior notice due to financial circumstances, and the Service is not liable for damages.
Article 19 (Disclaimers)
Article 20 (Indemnification)
① The Service is not liable for damages related to free services.
② Users who violate these Terms and cause damage to the Service shall compensate for such damages.
Ch.8Miscellaneous
Article 21 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
① These Terms are governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of Korea.
② Disputes arising from service use shall be submitted to the competent court under civil procedure law.
Article 22 (Privacy Protection)
The Service strives to protect user privacy. Personal information processing is governed by the separate Privacy Policy.

Supplementary Provisions
